WHCC - Runners-up at 2014 Philadelphia International Cricket Festival

West Haven Cricket Club participated in prestigious 22nd Philadelphia International Cricket Festival.16 teams participated in the festival.

WHCC won all 6 games in round robin and cruised in Finals. Australian bowling legend Dennis Lillee was the chief guest of the festival.



Finals was played between West Haven Cricket Club (CT, USA) and Toronto Curling & Cricket Club (Canada). Toronto batted first & scored 139 in their 20 overs but WHCC managed only 122 in 18.5 overs losing by 17 runs.
Toronto Curling & Cricket Club were the winners of the 2014 festival & WHCC were the runners-up.


Everyone fully enjoyed the 4 day festival, even though WHCC couldnt get their hands on the trophy it was a memorable festival experience.

Kudos to the organizing committee of the festival who work hard year after year to make this festival a great success.
